  • Fabulous game, but sorry, for those with long memories it's no more than 1 of about a dozen that one might consider among the top tier (about half the finals in the 80's, including UNC-Georgetown, NC St-Houston, Indiana-Syracuse, Michigan-Seton Hall come to mind, but the list goes on and on).

  • No punishment can be too great. Arenas has enough money so he's better off than almost anyone even if he never plays again, so any message that strikes at the studpidy of the gun culture should be encouraged.

  • They're getting off far too easy. Actions can have serious consequences, and they're darned lucky that there wasn't an accident involving the rescue aircraft, or an auto accident by a driver on the highway distracted by the balloon, etc.

  • If you watch this family on 'Wife Swap' through YouTube, it becomes more convincing that these are nutty people (or pretending to be nutty, for effect) and this was a hoax. Just another family out to create fame and fortune for themselves without doing anything constructive for anyone.

  • If that were my child, potentially killed, I'd have had the WHOLE house scoured in a matter of minutes - NO WAY this could drag on 2 hours.

  • Of course not. Some very obscure pitchers have had perfect games. He's never won 20 games or had an ERA below 3. Needs about 150 more wins.

  • I'm a traditional fan and I love the All-Star Game; I would also like it if they found a way to give it more meaning, but this isn't it. The home field advantage means far less in baseball than in any other sport because of the nature of the game - statistically almost negligible in fact.
